Happy New Year!

It is time to begin again. After sending out my first 2021 monthly Mind Body Balance newsletter this morning, I had this incredible feeling it was time to start sharing more on my blog. It has been way too long since my last blog post.

With so much going on this past year, my focus was to serve my clients, maintain my business of over 20 years and take care of my family. The one missing link was, I was not taking GOOD care of myself along the way. I may have been thinking I was, but all of my old habits kept me going at full speed and that was actually a good thing, until it no longer served me and my physical body. Long story short, I developed 2 rather large Kidney Stones in my left kidney in August and for the next 3 months, I began to experience many symptoms that finally led me to having 2 separate surgeries, one to biopsy my stones and then to remove those suckers and have the stones analyzed.

It was a painful journey that gave me an opportunity to practice what I teach, breathing and mindful meditation. I share this with you because we have the power to help ourselves when we are in need. Our breath is our life force and it is always with us. I had no choice but to breathe and allow it all to be what it was at the time. I had faith I was going to feel better and trust that my doctor, my family and my dear friends would take good care of me. My anxiety and panic would come and go, but the truth is, I knew I would be ok. That was my inner guidance, my heart leading me and so I surrendered and I let go and learned something along the way. I have the power to make a choice. I allowed my family to take care of me. My friends and clients were extremely supportive. I gave myself full permission to REST! That is something that my physical, mental and emotional body needed. When we begin to understand what our needs are, we can take good care of ourselves. I teach my clients that when you take good care of yourself you can sustain the energy to help others. Thankfully I am now fully recovered and I understand so much more about what my body needs.

My nutritional habits have changed as well as my workouts. I workout smarter not harder. I am leaning into what truly nourishes me, I love my food! I am working with amazing clients that are on a path to their own health and well-being. When we let go of old habits that don’t serve our highest good anymore, we make room for new and exciting energy!

Let us all begin again in 2021. No restrictions, just flow… Do what lights you up, makes you feel good. I know that my heart leads me and for that I am truly grateful. Living my most authentic life from the inside out has always been my go to. Being mindful is a practice, it is a daily blessing that I get to choose when I wake up in the morning.

The next chapter in my life… All I have to do is be my most authentic self and allow my inner light to shine. My purpose found me. I am blessed and grateful to be a source of comfort, light and a space holder for my clients as a LifeStyle Coach. Each coaching session is carefully guided by me. My client and I co-create together when we begin to allow the collective consciousness to do the work for us. My client begins their own journey into their divine heart, as I hold the space for them. I had to do my own personal work first in order to work from a place of integrity and honesty. I have been trained over the years to hold the space in a very healthy way for myself and my clients. I have been a certified Personal Trainer for over 15 years and the evolution of both my personal and professional transformation happened after a transition in my personal life a few years ago.

My transformational story began when my daughter left for college and soon after my son was on his way too. I loved the work I was doing as a Personal Trainer and was blessed and grateful to have a full schedule of clients to train, but I was missing something. Even though my clients were thrilled with the workout, all I wanted to do was have them lay down for 5 minutes after the workout, like we do in yoga class and rest, (aka MEDITATION) before they left. That was my wish so that they could seal in the incredible physical workout, the amazing endorphin rush and receive the 3PM bonus of feeling enlightened, instead of drained… Not all my clients felt drained, but I did! Many of my clients spoke wth me about that draining late afternoon feeling. It was super awesome that my clients and I always had a great connection. I retained clients for years, I am still coaching many of them as they have evolved in their own lives. We were friends, they could trust me and I could trust them! We would discuss what our afternoons felt like. It was the mama drain after the kids came home from school and our own hunger would start to become the HANGRY! (FOOD, now that’s a whole other topic I will be writing about.)

For me, the truth be told back in those days, it was very important as a Personal Trainer to stay on the program myself, watch my food, strength train, cardio, abs and maybe 1 day of yoga to stretch… Those days are long gone for me, for many beautiful reasons that I will continue to share with you here.  I am wide awake, aware and enlightened NOW! It was a super awesome ride for many years, it served me well both personally and professionally and I am so very grateful for it all!

Today I teach and Coach from a very well trained, loving and enlightened Mind and Body Balance! I am thrilled to continue to share with you all of my personal stories here on my brand new BLOG! My hope is for you to live in the balance and Be The Light, because the world needs more of our collective energetic light than ever!

Make choices everyday that light you up! Even if it’s one thing that will make you happy, just do it!!!
I am here to educate, motivate and inspire you to live in the present moment and own your most authentic self! The week is yours, OWN IT!!! One small right action each day can take you to miraculous places and that’s where the magic happens! Procrastination is something everyone has come in contact with, we are all human.
It’s when you witness yourself with a nonjudgmental approach and begin to feel your source open up in your heart, that is when you are truly living your most authentic life and you WANT to wake up on a daily basis and feel all the goodness you are capable of giving and receiving!
For the ladies, #hormones are a huge topic I will be speaking about! I am here to be of service in the highest good. The more I learn, the more I share… it has a ripple effect, the more you are open to learning, the more you will share! Open your heart today, receive all the goodness and allow the overflow to serve others!

My experience with the work I have been doing over the last few years has been one of #sisterhood
Being a Personal Trainer for over 15 years I have been blessed to help women stay strong and well nourished. As I began to integrate Mindfulness and Meditation into their sessions, I began to see the energy and the light that each client had with in their source energy… It was the balance at the end of a powerful workout that sealed in the whole being… I am excited as I continue to guide clients back home to their hearts, while maintaining their Inner Strength, using all the tools and techniques I have learned and applied into my own life over the last few years.
